To maintain good standing as an Honors Scholar:

  • Maintain a 3.4 GPA
  • Take at least one Honors course or Honors option per semester
  • Participate in at least one international trip or extended service experience by the end of your second year
  • Engage and present at a conference/seminar/workshop with faculty by the end of your sophomore year (for students in a two year program, including 2+2) or senior year (for students in a four year program) under one of three choices:
    • Undergraduate research
    • Independent study
    • Creative accomplishment
  • Be an active member of at least one club, serving as an officer if possible
  • Attend at least three campus events per semester
  • Attend all mandatory Honors Program meetings throughout the year
  • Respond to Honors Program Coordinators e-mails promptly
